The philosophy of Core Health and Fitness is to educate and empower our clients and the community through personally designed fitness and diet routines, programs, and lectures geared towards bridging the gap between setting a fitness goal and achieving it

Core Health and Fitness opened for business on April 2, 2007 in Dewitt, New York. Initially, Jason Mould was the only employee, but in May of the same year Core hired its first employee. In December of 2007 the second employee will begin. All employees are currently part time, but working towards full time status. In November Core joined forces with the Ronald McDonald House to bring the Toys For Training program which to date has been very successful. This first year also saw a switch in our target market. Core went from catering to young single business professionals age 24 - 40 to individuals age 35 - 65 with families. The reason for the swing was due greatly to our location. Core now realizes that the younger market (downtown) is more inconsistent and doesn't have a "true" fitness goal as compared to our new target. Our new target is also more stable financially (overall) and come to us with more long term goals.
